CRIMINAL INVESTIGATORS

TONY ISOM

Tony Isom also serves as a Criminal Investigator for the Tenth Judicial District. His law enforcement experience began in the 1970's as a patrol officer with the Chattanooga Police Department.  Tony later served as a Master Patrolman, General Crimes Investigator and a Narcotics Detective. He also was a member of the SWAT Team. Tony left CPD in 1985 and joined the Drug Enforcement Agency as a Special Agent. He served with DEA until 2009. In 2009, Tony began work with the United States Marshal Service as a contract employee until he joined our office in 2017. Tony's extensive training in drug and narcotics investigations will be important as we try to find the opioid epidemic.

MARSHALL HICKS

Marshall Hicks serves as a Criminal Investigator for the Tenth Judicial District. He began his career in 2003 as a deputy sheriff for the Bradley County Sheriff’s Office. Marshall has held several positions at the Bradley County Sheriff’s Office before becoming a detective and conducting investigations. Marshall spent majority of his 18 and half year career with the sheriff’s office as a detective investigating crimes in the Criminal Investigation Division. During his tenure as a detective, Marshall has been assigned to narcotics, property crimes, forensics, and person crimes. His main role now is to coordinate and assist the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and local law enforcement agencies in complex and highly sensitive investigations and to serve as a liaison in all homicide cases, and other matters as assigned by General Crump.
