District Attorney General
Tenth Judicial District
Shari Tayloe was appointed District Attorney General for Tennessee's Tenth Judicial District on July 17, 2023, by Governor Bill Lee. The Tenth Judicial District is comprised of Bradley, McMinn, Monroe and Polk Counties.
General Tayloe began prosecuting in 1994, when she was appointed as an Assistant District Attorney by former District Attorney General Jerry Estes. She was named Chief Assistant for the district where she oversaw the prosecution of cases and personnel in the Bradley, Polk, McMinn, and Monroe counties. In October 2006, she entered private practice as a partner with Crump, Richardson, and Young, PLLC. In 2011, General Tayloe returned to prosecution as an Assistant District Attorney under now retired District Attorney General Mike Flynn in the 5th Judicial District. She returned home to the Tenth in 2016 when former District Attorney General Steve Crump appointed her as an Assistant District Attorney. She was made Deputy District Attorney in August 2017. General Tayloe served as Deputy District Attorney until her appointment by Governor Lee.
